How to Participate?
Becoming a member is the best way to join and get fully involved with Lumina RDC. You can be an active contributor by sharing donations, support, ideas, and time for the cause; better the lives of those around you. Tell us exactly what you want to see happen in the sectors of agriculture, education, health, and transportation. You contribution will qualify you for a leadership role!
Become a Leader in Project Management
Now that you have become an active member, you have the power to lead. Reach out to at least 10 people you know and provide their names and contact information, you are now eligible to direct a project of your choice. Lumina RDC will help you with all the resources necessary to set you up for success!
Feasibility
As a project leader, you will be entitled to some rights and you will have obligations.But don't worry, you will be rewarded for your work. If you become unavailable, you may appoint a replacement or request one.
Nationals
Lumina RDC understands that not everyone can donate both time and money. Be aware that any form of participation is highly appreciated. Even simply getting your friends and family involved would be a major contribution. Whether you are located in Continental United States or abroad, do not underestimate your ability to make a significant impact kin bettering lives.
Current Projects
Lumina RDC is growing crops in harvesting corn, onions, egg plants, tomatoes, and potatoes in Central Pennsylvania. Proceeds have been used to strengthen communities of new-comers (refugees and asylees) relocating in the towns Lancaster, Reading, York, and Harrisburg.
With the assistance of its partners in the United States, Lumina RDC has school bags, uniforms, and books to 600 children returning to school in impoverished areas of Kinshasa, DR Congo.
Premium meat is processed locally in our farms in Central PA, and sold to our members for healthy consumption as well as generating funds to fuel our projects and expand our activities.
Fundraisers are held on regular basis following ideas and innovations provided by our members and sponsors. Tournaments, races, exhibitions, shows, games, and so much more is being held essentially in Central Pennsylvania, Mexico, France, and Kinshasa-Congo to generate enough funds to materialize our creativity into bettering lives for those in need.
