Projets 

AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK

 

We are strengthening agricultural capacity of over 5,000 women farmers in the Capital province of Kinshasa. The Congolese women are the economic support of our society. Training seminaries for new farming techniques are organized and presented to participants. Several tractors and other modern farming equipment are obtained from industrialized countries and the expertise required to assisting farmers in the DRC.

WATER AND SANITATION

 

Our current projects include drilling, drinking water in poor neighborhoods of several municipalities in the Capital and in the Provinces. We are working to implement a recycling system and waste management services to clean up our cities. Lumina provides trucks for garbage collection and incineration of waste.

ELECTRICITY FOR ALL

The monopoly of electric power being held by the Congolese State, Lumina intends to supply the inhabitants of selected areas with electricity through solar panels, generators and other fans. In other places generators of high-capacity will be installed.

EDUCATION

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” Nelson Mandela.

You cannot build a nation without education. We will support our schools with equipment, supplies and will provide assistance to teachers in order to improve the quality of education in the Congo. We also opened a dialog with our government to change the curriculum which is still based on the colonial modele.

A buses system is expected for the transport of students.

 

MODERN SCHOOLS

Some selected schools will benefit from rehabilitation and renovation. Computers, printers, projectors, audio and visual materials will be provided to a considerable number of establishments.

Ambulatory health kiosks will tour new and existing schools to provide primary care for school children

TRANSPORT

Buses, taxis, boats, trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, barges, ambulances, and pushers will be obtained in massive quantities to support economic activities and health of our people. A strong organization in the management, maintenance, and replacement of these items will be put in place.


Providing emergency transportation to our patients is one of our priorities.
